Friends, If KDE has issues, why stick to it? I might not be the longest serving SuSe user (servers and desktop) but I have less to complain on using GNOME... and it always my "default" unless I need no GUI! Installed it as virtual and real; same old. It is always compromise and comfort with a particular flavor, I guess. CentOS is a handful too.
