There are no GPS "providers". Well, okay, technically there is *one* provider, 
but not in the same way cell phones work, for example. A GPS device does not 
transmit; it merely receives timestamped beacon signals from several satellites 
with known positions and calculates its position on the surface based on the 
discrepancies in the time stamps (speed of radio waves times amount of time 
passed since emission equals the distance to the emitting source). The only GPS 
transmitters around are those in the satellites.

If the GPS system is interfering with LightSquared, changing a lot of 
satellites will be expensive. I am, however, inclined to think that it is the 
other way around, that the LightSquared system is interfering with GPS devices.
