Richard,
I think you are off topic here ..

It's the Joomla admin interface you need to install or unistall modules/components and not CFI control panel.

Quoting "Richard B. Sennoga" <[email protected]>:

Talking from the point of view of an Administrator of several Joomla! sites hosted by CFI, if CFI can enhance the panel so that it allows for a degree of flexibility in installing/uninstalling new modules, components, etc, without having to take the site down and then up again, then this would be a great value addition intervention.

As far as I moment, this is lacking, but I welcome correction/information if some developments have already been registered on the same.

I'll be glad to reply to or dodge your questions, depending on what I think will help our election most ? George Bush

A part of me thinks UCC requires (am not sure about this) the telecos to hand in this information, how regular this is done I can't tell. I once got help from someone at UCC, who sent me this info in an excel sheet. Might be a viable option to try out.

What would be handy is:
- changing all properties of the domain
- change who manages the domain (so the local registrar) And that requires
some sort of procedure with AUTH-IDs eg)

Having different prices for registrars would be great. Having to compete with
CFI at the same price as they sell to consumers is a nightmare, both
financially as well as with people who have no clue and just register the
domain with them and then expect us to solve the mess.

A Drupal ecommerce module that would use the API would be great as a bonus :-)
