Hi wilson, I have a verizon iphone not AT&t. Tether option is in the setup menu when i take out the orange sim. If i put in my verizon sim, the option remains. I even put in a safaricom sim that i cut down to micro and the option remains. I dont see how that is the iphones 4s fault. Tethering is a default option not a hack or jailbreak feature anymore.
MTN is the network verizon roams on when I am in uganda so i am going to check with them and confirm before investig more time and money. for now ill just use the modem my mother picked up for me from her job.
