In my fight over importing the HTPC, the shipping agent at some point told
me to just slip the URA guys 200k and I could walk away with my package! I
refused, paid all the relevant (and irrelevant) taxes and left very bitter.

I understand why the whole "find someone coming in and slip it their
baggage" method is the recommended way to go.
