Yes, the kernels are the same between 1.4 and 1.6.
What's the prognosis on 1.4.9? Still expected this week? If not, perhaps
someone at cfs would be kind enough to send me just the kernel-patches
part of
it?

If you could kindly keep us (or me directly) in the loop regarding
2.6.18patches it would be much appreciated.
Trying to build 1.4.9 on debian etch here.
