There are lustre packages in debian unstable but my attempts to
contact the developers have been unsuccessful, I've been working on
updating the debian unstable packages for lustre 1.6.0.1 but its slow
going as the build and install isn't split up very well for debian.
Your best bet might be to alien the lustre rpm's and attempt to start
from there.

I might have some updated lustre debian packages early next week some time.
