Be it as it is - when reading the lyrics I just imagine the need for
some light entertainment in times when there was no TV. The story has
all the attributes of such a story: a heroe, a traitor, a love story,
pretty girl with blue eyes and blond hair, horses, a duel, finally a
dramatic end depicted in sentimental words ... 
And the music by Sautscheck & Co. (Zumsteeg) supports the story quite
well.  
Okay - I better leave these topic now.
