Arto, If you really wish to discuss morals and ethics, I think religion (or the lack thereof) must also be included.
But I'm not going into religion on this list. Hence I'll skip the morals and ethics questions as well. So permit me to make a suggestion. The Ancient Greeks considered music to be one of the most effective ways to change a person's moods and beliefs. Instead of leaving a music community, get more actively involved. Use your music to express your objections. In America, there were a lot of intelligent protest songs during the Vietnam police action/war/era , whatever your politics want to call it. And they made an influence to get America out of Vietnam. Here's your chance to get America out of Iraq/Afghanistan/wherever. Let's hear your protest songs! The Other
