If your end output is MP3, set the sampling rate to 48 wave, if CD, use
   44.1
48 give you better highs, but if the mics are noisy 44.1 is a better
bet. Start with 44.1, my suggestion.
   To set the sampling rate
Bring up the REC MODE screen.
   Repeatedly press the
   (REW)/
   or
   (FF)
keys to move the cursor to "REC MODE" and
   press the
   5
   (REC) key. The REC MODE
   screen appears
   Select 44.1
Then, using whatever software you use to convert to MP3, set it to 44.1
   /256
But you can just upload the wave file--that is really the best. Just
scoop it off the card unchanged.

Many thanks, David. They are both the best yet, possibly the
Lexicon getting the edge. I assume it costs money? Where to get
          it?

It was my first attempt with the H2. Please tell me what would be
the ideal sampling rate, and what do you mean (in dumbed-down
language!) by low resolution, and how to get it higher?
