Orlando di Lasso made use of the tune, founding his mass Il Me Suffit on it (Munich, around 1576). Leomhard Lechner, faithful servant to the Bavarian Hofkapellmeister, renamed the mass into "Beschaffnes Glück" in order to popularize it.
