What material are your nuts made of? Mine was originally made of ebony.=20
Personally, I had the feeling that the new nut made from bone reacts much=20
friendlier to wound strings.=20

I threw them out nevertheless. The lute looks much prettier now, with all=20
plain strings. :-)
