Thank you, Daniel.  I seem to remember that you are very happy with a Frei 
model instrument with a longish mensur - 64 or 65 cm.  And Ron, too, I seem to 
recall, plays on a longish mensur.  I wonder what your advice would be to 
someone - with medium to long fingers - ordering an instrument.  A longish 
mensur or something closer to 60 cm?  From what I've heard and read, the longer 
mensur instruments seem to have been more the norm during the 16th century.
