No company will replace sockets that are damaged under warranty unless it's 
under corporate support and they are planning to make the money back on the 
next 500 sales.

Looks like the ports are on the motherboard so with only a single USB-C port 
your only option for getting it going is to use the proprietary dock that 
apparently offers the same functionality with a different connector.

But the motherboard is cheap and easy to replace.

That's common on all modern laptops.  Make them thin and light and there isn't 
much space between screen and keyboard and not much strength to stop them 
touching when something is left on top of the laptop.

New motherboard, expensive from Lenovo but cheap from AliExpress if you feel 
like doing it.
