I believe the goal is to have it dual compilable - GTK2 and GTK3. At
least most of packages (libfm/pcmanfm, lxpanel, gpicview, lxappearance,
lxterminal, lxshortcut) can be. And I believe they should stay that way,
for now at least, since GTK3 is less lightweight than GTK2 and there are
lot of old computers still in use that would prefer GTK2.
