Just a sidenote: on both my home (Dual Core Atom 330, 4GB, GeForce 9400)
and on my work (Quad Core 2.4GHz, 4GB, GeForce 7100) machines I use just
Openbox with manual setup which includes: lxpanel, pcmanfm, clipit, kmix.
I know, it's capable for crazy DEs, but list above is pretty much enough
and comfortable. :)
