OK, if we start to include Jabref and LaTeX2RTF, where do we stop?

That was my initial interaction with Uwe's inclusion of Jabref. It is
good to take care of user's need but Uwe's installer has gone too far
down that road in that it takes care of too many issues of third-party
applications. Besides maintenance troubles (what if a new version of
something is released?), inclusion of third-party applications may
drag lyx into some license issues.

That is why I am in favor of Joost's installer. It is perfectly fine
to me if Uwe's installer is maintained in the wiki so that users who
like the completeness or userfriendliness of this installer can get
it. Making it official by putting it in the trunk is not a good idea
IMHO. As far as I can tell, there is no consensus on the adoption of
this installer into the trunk and Michael did not agree on it.

As a trade-off, I propose we add some pages to Joost's installer that
download Jabref etc if a user choose to do so. We can also add
something like "Thrid-party applications" to the Help menu, explaining
some third-party issues.

Reverting or merging or whatever, I agree with Michael that there
should be only one installer when 1.5.x is released.
