For all I know I got that idea from DOS edit or Notepad, both of which I have 
not used since Win2k (my last Windows was w98).

I just had the knowledge that I've used some stuff that didn't recognize 
Ctrl+S as save, but I can't remember what software it was. So yeah, it might 
have been DOS Edit or Notepad.

Obviously, old habits die hard.
