I am working on making a silent install/uninstall package of Lyx for our
organization. There is an annoying error in the uninstaller, when running
it, it removes _all_ icons under "C:\programdata\microsoft\windows\Start
Menu\Programs". The subfolders of the Start Menu is still there, but all
icons for all other program are gone.
Ouch. This should not happen. What version of Windows are you using, did you hape admin permissions
or not while uninstalling LyX?
I tried to reproduce the problem but cannot see it on Win 7 professional.
