Honestly I'm not bothered by the current situation. I think I would prefer the idea of " label --->" on first line " --- label ---" on middle lines " <--- label" on last or something like that which we had discussed. But I am in no hurry for a change. For example, I would not oppose merging to master because of this issue. I know it was a hack to make me happy, but I'm still happy with it if no one else complains. I still prefer to do some more smoothing on the other issues before merging to master if that's OK.
