I think most of the weird behavior I see now comes from too-long lines.
It is not that I am actually using the horizontal scrolling. But if a
line is a bit too long, it seems to affect cursor getting stuck as well.
You have the following in the README.brkinsets:
What does not work:
* horizontal scrolling
so I am guessing you are aware.
The cursor is known to not be at the right position (probably trivial
fix, but where ?)
I am not aware that it makes the cursor get stuck.
