I found a way to reproduce the above messages: 1. Start a new document. 2. Copy some text from outside of document (i.e., not LyX's internal clipboard). 3. Paste inside LyX. (result: no message). 4. Now copy that text (i.e., LyX's internal clipboard). 5. Paste inside LyX. The result is terminal messages for me: Below is the result of pasting "that" a couple of times in LyX.
