Thanks, so I'd made a typo before then and it should have been e.g.
http//wiki.lyx.org/Windows/LyX145?action=attr
rather than '...acton..' to edit the attributes.
I've added the list of these protected pages to the file
/home/lyx/www/pmwiki/passwords.txt
Maybe the list of protected pages should be put on a wiki page instead,
but that's something for later. Alternatively, I should find a way to
automatically list protected pages.
