I'll try it again. And, how do I get the minibuffer back at the
bottom of
the window rather than on the right side? Not sure what I did to move
it but

It has a "handle bar" (two parallel lines) at one end. When it's at the
bottom of the screen, the handle bar is at the left. Where it is now, I
suspect the handle bar is at the top. The cursor should turn into a hand
when you mouse over it. Click and drag to the bottom of the window.
