LyX 2.5.0 works reasonably well on Windows 11. However, I notice that
after a few hours of working, the performance becomes sluggish.
If I close LyX and restart it, it immediately becomes more snappy.

Does this indicate a memory leakage?

How can I check for memory leakage more concretely to give a more
precise diagnostic?
Hello Bernt,
This is not acceptable indeed. To see if the issue is related to a
memory leak, you can try to use Task Manager or Resource Monitor to see
whether the memory use of LyX grows, and whether it grows enough to
trigger swapping.
But if memory is not tight, a memory leak does not in itself cost
performance. Therefore, there may be other issues at stake. However,
"working for a few hours" is not something that I can reproduce easily.
(especially if we do not do the same actions).
@Windows_experts: are there tools that could be used to profile a work
session (and that are not too annoying performance-wise)? What kind of
data do they require? A version of LyX with debug information?
