from the preamble (I reported) has improved the hyphenation.
However, there are still quite a number of incidences of wrong hyphenation in
the text. I have checked the first 120 pages in the dvi output of the latex
bookstyle document and encountered more than 50 cases. I have not found a
certain pattern (more or less evenly distributed over the 120 pages), but
certain words are more often affected such as
be|s/timmten (/were the hyphenation occurs, | where it should be),
(same with bestimmt, bestimmter, bestimmten)
ge|s/teuert
gle/i|che (same with gleichmig)
be|e/influssen (same with beeinflut)
zust/z|lich,
There are also several incidences of hyphenations in sch such as
chemis/che, indis/che, rhythmis/che
Other examples which occurred just once are
Stan/d|orte, verbre/it|et, Stundenbe|re/ich, Energi/e|trger, ko/r|reliert,
beispiel/s|weise, Vor|z/eichen, Mo|d/ell, bersicht/s|artikel,
Pop/u|lationsrhythmus, Population/s|rhythmus
and so on.
My question: is this the normal error quote of the hyphenation program and I
have to take care of it by hand, or is the frequency of erraneous hyphenation
exceptionally high? And if so, what might be wrong?
