Hi, there, I have been trying to make the switch from MS Word to LyX (for Mac OS X).
Unfortunately, I have discovered that although cut and paste to and from LyX in English works just fine, in Russian, there seems to be an encoding problem, and no matter whether I am swapping between Word, or Text Edit, and no matter that I set all encodings in LyX and Word and Text Edit to KOI-8, all I get is garbage. Copying into LyX, I get just question marks or occasionally garbage text. Copying out, I just get garbage. If anyone has any clues, such as preamble or encoding hints, please let me know.
