I think its fair to say that LyX/Win 1.3.6 has been tested only in 
WinXP. I read that the installer 
( http://nsis.sourceforge.net/features/ ) is "compatible with all 
major Windows versions" (includes ME), so you should have no problems 
installing the thing. Running it? I have no idea. I'm 
ohhh-soo-ignorant of all things Windows.

Sure! Only the 55 strings in english.nsh ( http://tinyurl.com/8ukxa ) 
need translating. The bulk of the Danish translation comes 
pre-packaged with the installer.
