Sorry Paul, hadn't seen your reply. After fonts reinstallation, windows reboot and lyx reconfiguration, it all works fine now (not sure whether all these steps were necessary...). It really surprised me that the fonts got damaged in the upgrade (I had checked that they were still there), but all ends well. Thanks again, Mélanie

Here's a work-around. Download the BaKoMa4LyX fonts from ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/contrib/BaKoMa4LyX-1.1.zip and unzip them in a temp directory. Open the Windows font applet (from the Control Panel), and delete the eight fonts that correspond to the ones in the zip archive. Then point the font applet at your temp directory and install the BaKoMa fonts. I suggest keeping the zip file around for future use.
