update:

I was able to run  38400 T200--> PC, and 76800 T200--> T200.

I used the following in Basic:

T200 ---> T200 @76800

source:
10 open "COM:98n1enn" for output as 1
15 out 184,67: rem shut off timer
20 out 188,64 :
30 out 187,1: REM 76800 mode (2 for 38400)
40 out 184,195 : REM turn on timer
50 i=0
60 print#1,"this is a test";i:i=i+1
70 forx=1to20:nextx:goto60

destination
10 cls:open "COM:98n1enn" for input as 1
15 out 184,67 : rem shut off timer
20 out 188,64 :
30 out 187,1: REM 76800 mode
40 out 184,195 : REM turn on timer
50 input#1,a$:print@10,a$:goto50
