The M102 port is nine pins (male).  So you're saying to "short" pins 2 and
3 in that port as the other MikeS says "2nd and 3rd from the right on the
bottom row".

Done.  Telcom STAT 58N1D.  TERM.  Type some characters.  Unfortunately, no
characters appeared on the screen, when I typed them.  Only way to get
characters to appear on the screen is by hitting F3, so the screen shows:

Prev Down Up Half

Then I can see the characters.

Good grief.  So the "loopback" failed?

Are we having fun yet?
