Don't know why you guys like those adapters, especially semi-permanently 
attached and sticking out the back so you can't put it in its case; the molded 
cables don't have a problem with the recessed connector and I've never worn out 
a DB-25 ;-)

I've probably got close to a hundred adapters and use them when I have to;  the 
fewer connections the better IMO, but to each their own ... ;-)
