There aren't a lot of them to do so I did a full recap on my T102 (which was fully functional and showed no signs of capacitor failure) in an effort to buy it more lifespan while I still have the hands and eyes to do the work. Arcadeshopper and console5 stock cap kits if convenience is a factor, and the T is pretty easy to work on so I look at it as preventative maintenance. On other projects I have looked for swelling or signs of seeping as the indicator a recap was imminently needed. Speculative recapping is something I don't usually look to do (neither my C64 nor Amiga have been recapped, and are fully operational) unless the machine is known for a high rate of failure. My understanding is that the M100 suffers more cap failures than the 102 does, but inspection is certainly warranted.
