hope they also add an api library to add these features for those people
running 2.1 or 2.2 who are not fortunate enough to get the update and
are to afraid to root.

Hey everyone, well, the new version of android, 4.0 has some
accessibility improvements. You can now explore the touch screen, when
you touch an item, it is spoken, touchingit again activates it. Also,
the accessibility api now provides much more information, a screen
reader can now ask for all of the text in a window, as well as the
location of the text. The example that was given was that you could
now search for text on the screen. Also, you can now set up a phone
without site, doing a particular gesture activates accessibility. The
new SDK has been released, I'm sure code factory will be interested in
the new accessibility that is provided. I'm wondering if the API is
good enough now to create a version of mobile speak. Also, the web
browser is now accessible, sounds like some very nice changes.
