Hello Mike,

Cmd-t does various things in various applications, but it is Never the way to 
get the date. You must have hit Option by mistake if it seemed to work once. 
It's easily done since they're next to each other.

Try some keyboard practice by pressing VO-k for Keyboard Help. You get out of 
it by pressing Escape.

In Keyboard Help, if you press a VO command, you'll hear what it does. This 
does not work for Keyboard Commander, however. On the other hand, Keyboard Help 
does work for the gestures in Trackpad Commander, as long as Trackpad Commander 
is active when you start Keyboard Help.
