Fileapp is also a good choice for reading PDFs on the iPhone. Interestingly, although Skim is touted to be a better PDF reader than Preview, for some reason, if you are reading in "single page" view, when you move to a new page in Skim, VoiceOver does not start reading from the top of the page when reading manually with the VO keys.
