Ok. interesting. I went to accounts, advanced and if I set the thing to All messages and their attachments Keep copies of messages for offline viewing: which is set to now if I change that I will not be able to see any attachments or messages. it will have to download every single one as I get to it so I don't see how this can speed things up. Unless I'm missing something in my foggy brain. lol!
