Thanks, am considering buying Audio Hijack Pro so I can not only record
myself but also record system audio output or output from other
applications.

Hi,
Just for those who are interested in the Rogue Amoeba products such as Fission
(a simple but lossless editor), and other audio products such as Audio Hijack
Pro (capture audio from your Mac) or AirFoil (stream audio content to different
devices), their 10th anniversary is coming up at the end of September, so some
time around September 30 is a good time to look for sales of the Rogue Amoeba
products. Just in case anyone is trying out their products now, and thinking
about buying.
HTH. Cheers,
Esther

Hello everybody
Sarah posted a link to a blog which talks about Rogue Amoeba Fission 2. So, I just
thought I would add that we love this editor and already have the latest version in our
software repository. You can find it under the Audio & Video/Players, Rippers &
Encoders/Mac OS X directory.
We also wanted to make it known that another editor which we really really like, known as
"WavePad" from NCH Software, an Australian based company, is also in our
collection because to be honest, it is our editor of choice, even over Amadeus Pro.
Gordon finds Amadeus Pro a bit irritating at times. WavePad uses conventional word
processor-like commands, and best of all you can hear what you are selecting in real time.
Anyway, there you are. We will be talking on our own blog and probably in a
podcast soon about these products.
Lynne
