Actually, I use audio hijack pro to mute my safari sessions, when I'm listening to a webcast (I do that a lot) or mlb.com, even though these sites usually have mute buttons, the one from audio hijack is so much more functional, since it doesn't require me to move the vo cursor away from the content on the actual page just to press mute, then (most of the time) that part of the page reloads, and vo is back at the top of the page again. By using audio hijack, I bypass all that nonsense, and vo stays where I parked it before I switched away.
