Ah, lucky you! :) Oh the wonders of buying your own presents, LOL. Its so interesting that a few of us have the exact same mac. Its really interesting. Well, the way I do spell checking, is that when voiceover says that something is misspelled, I try to go back and see where the misspelling is, and since I am a pretty good speller, I can usually correct it.
