Apparently there are problems with OS X and DHCP. Whoever needed the info
might want to look at Apple's web site for more information on that front.
As for Roger's @Home: if they have provided you with a static IP address you
should be able to use OS X with @Home without problems. I used OS X Beta
with Shaw @Home in Scarborough, ON last fall.

All you'll need is the following IPs: router (24.xxx.xxx.xxx), computer
(24.xxx.xxx.xxx), subnet mask (25x.25x.25x.xxx) DN server IP
(24.xxx.xxx.xxx) and search domains. These get entered into System
Preferences:Network and the "Built-in Ethernet" menu with the "Manually"
setting.
