Oh yeah... but the RAM is still hovering around the $80 mark retail
(which is too much for me).

I've tried a couple of small PC stores but they don't want to take back
the RAM if it doesn't work. Mentioning 'Mac' to them and they freeze and
don't seem to want to deal with the issue.

However, I'd be willing to take a chance on the PC-centric RAM ads if
the price was a lot less than $80 :-)
