I have the dreaded 333MHz tray-loading iMac. with a whopping 96MBs of RAM.
Ergo -- I'm poor (since, obviously, I haven't upgraded in 5 years) :-)
I've tried posting a request for SODIMM RAM on craigslist.org in Vancouver but no one bit.
Would anyone know where I can get some cheap (i.e. pulled chips or generic) 128MB SODIMM chips for 'Limey' so I can at least upgrade him to something that'll run OS X so I can eventually sell it to someone who doesn't need a Mac for graphic-intensive programs like PhotoShop :-) ?
A source for the 256MB SODIMM RAM chips that, apparently, work with the 333MHz would be nice, too :-)
Help?
Thanks!
Bree
Mantek, a list sponsor has 256MB 16 chip sodimms that work in tray loaders. Price is high, but they do work!
