Maybe the battery just needed to be charged. One thing I would make
sure though is that you have a backup of all your data just in case
something else happens.

Your warranty includes phone support. They may have a fix for you,
although from the sounds of it I think they will just ask you to
take your computer in to an authorized service center.

My iBook made a snap sound this morning and the screen went black
with no power. It will not start up. It is still under warranty
so I am afraid to do much to it. It is a G4 14' Superdrive
running Mac OSX Tiger. All sofftware is up to date. Any
suggestions before sending to apple.
