If your computer is still under warrantee (and, you think this may be hardware issue), you might want to consider purchasing AppleCare for your iBook. This will add an additional two years of warrantee to your standard 1 year for the iBook. If you're a student/teacher (or have a student/teacher in the family) you can purchase it at a significantly reduced rate.
