Yeah, but OS *7.1* is faster than any MacOS after it - and SSW 6x is 10x faster than any flavor of 7.x and later... so? Besides trying to find a Mac to run SSW 6.x on; Why throw in that comment? If the manufacturer claims that this card is compatible with your Mac (and the Mac OS it runs) and it fails, then perhaps you have an issue with those who make the claim? I've been to their specs site: <http://www.dlink.com/products/resource.asp?pid=122&rid=515>, it claims "Apple Macintosh 9.x or 10.1x" compatibility there - Though I couldn't see any specs on the speed of the machine required. Have you tried swapping your PCI cards around?
