"Nice" that D-Link had Realtek either ship them unmarked RTL8139A chips or had Realtek mark them as DL100038D. :P <clip> > Easy, reinstall. you've trashed some part of the > system file. That's a lesson learned the hard way with the "classic" OS. Keep backup copies of the Finder, System File as well as any System Resource and Enabler files. One of these days I'll have me a much nicer Mac than a 7300/200 or a IIci with a 66Mhz Turbo 601 or the Yeager Prototype PowerBook Duo 280 or that Engineering Sample PowerBook Duo 230. When I saw the "Yeager Prototype Unit- Not For Resale" lable on the bottom of the 280, the first word out of my mouth was "Mine!" ;-) It's neat to have a piece of Apple stuff that the general public was never supposed to have, but it'd be MUCH neater if it was a Power Express. ;) ===== "When you are wrestling for possession of a sword, the man with the handle always wins."
