Thanks Gavin and Mark, point taken.

And the next question is: Does anyone know of a USB modem with speakerphone
function that is also BABT approved?

Working at from the other end there seem to be two relevant pieces of
software: Smith Micro's Message Center Pro and Bing Software's Megaphone.
According to their software list of modems that work is a US Robotics 56K
Faxmodem Pro USB.

Any idea where I might find out if this is BABT approved? Likely UK
distributor/stockists?

Thanks for the advice

John
