While they can argue over the original offer, the use of a photo seems to me to be much less 'debatable' under law. Who's photo is it? DId they get permission to use it? Gjees, Don't want to go there, heck, I don't care that they write about me. A dutch Mac mag had an article on my collection ages ago, they send a reported with a photographer and did their thing, they send several copies of the mag and I was happy.

MacFormat promised money for a photo, promised to send the money after every email I send. I then started asking if I at least could get 2 copies of the mag, to send to my mum in holland, once again they said sure, several times sure in an email and nothing... So I left it at that, never bought the mag anyways as it feel a bit like a mac starter mag to me but after a month I noticed increased traffic to my personal website and one of my mates at Apple called me saying he saw my bedroom pic in MacFormat???

By the looks of the article, which is wrong, they have pieced together a story from emails and phone calls I had with the regarding the cash they owned me and made it look like they interviewed me, that makes them liars in my books.

I send them a few emails again but no response, I guess I should go with this story to their rival mag's as suggested on this mailing list.
