Open your library folder in your User folder, locate the Favourites 
folder and drag it to the side bar.
All done.

All this does is give the Finder precedence on your Favorites folder, I want
to be able to select and MOUNT the shares on the Desktop not just browse
them via the Finder.

The old Favorites from the Go menu MOUNTED Shares direct on the Desktop
which is incredibly useful and I WANT IT BACK GRRRR
